Presentations and Workshops

Individual Transitions

  • Before the Where and What...Who, Why and How!

High school students are always being asked things such as “what are you going to major in?” College grads are bombarded with questions such as “what are you going to do for work?” This presentation will guide students (and parents) through the conversations and activities necessary to discover the who, why and how!

  • Tree of Life: An Exercise for Understanding Identity & Direction in Life Through Story

Using it as a visual metaphor in which a tree represents life and the various elements that make it up–past, present, and future, participants will spend time labeling these parts, in an effort to discover (or perhaps rediscover) aspects of self. Through conversation, we will discuss how ones tree can reflect the kind of person you want to be moving forward. Ideal for smaller groups.

Community of Care

  • In the Game: Mind, Body, Heart & Soul

Due to recent high profile cases of athletes talking openly and honestly about their mental health, now is a great time to have teams come together to look at how student athletes can ensure mental, physical, relational and individual health is recognized and prioritized.

  • See, Speak, Pledge

This highly engaging presentation walks college students through the steps to become proactive and positive bystanders. After, students will be able to see high-risk situations, speak to friends or resources, and are able to pledge to keep campuses and communities safe.

  • QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

  • Stress Fractures

This workshop for student athletes, uses the metaphor of “stress fractures”, to move from defining only as tiny cracks in a bone, caused by repetitive force, often from overuse to cracks in our mental health, caused by repetitive challenges, often seen in relationships, identity and uncertainty.

  • Professional Tree of Life: Creating a Workplace Forest

The Professional Tree of Life approach workshop will encourage staff and teams to reflect on their relationship to their work, the professional identities they share and co-create at work, and how they contribute to each others working lives, the team and the services companies and organizations are aiming to provide.

What people are saying…

“Lindsey ran numerous meetings in conjunction with the athletic department and they were always a hit with the student/athletes. They ranged from mental health to sexual assault and awareness training and the SAs really open up and relate well with her. She is an educator with a heart for this age group and truly wants to provide these young adults with the skill to manage and navigate the life ahead!

— Tim Byram (Compliance coordinator and women's volleyball coach Endicott College)

“Lindsey has spoken to our team a few times and I always walk away smiling and feeling like I learned something new to think about for myself or to help one of my friends.”

— Sophomore, Field Hockey Player

“Lindsey presented at our conference and the women in the audience really seemed to take away from the workshop and were talking about how they learned so much about themselves.”

— Participant of North Shore Women’s Inventure 2020
